Keukenhof Flower Gardens

The Keukenhof is called a "Flower Show", but it is more like a large park that you can stroll through to see a large variety of flowers.

There are lots of wire structures and trelises that have vines beginning to grow up them. I'm sure they will be quite beautiful when the vines are fully grown and the flowers bloom!

The kids thought that a "flower show" was going to be B-O-R-I-N-G! They were surprised at how many activities there were to keep them entertained!

The kids loved this little hut, woven from vines.

The seats inside the hut were created from tree trunks. Jagger thought that was pretty cool!

There were a few large bird cages amongst the flowers and the kids especially liked the cockateil cage.

The indoor greenhouse was the size of a shopping mall.

The greenhouse showcased award-winning flowers from local growers and rare flowers from all over the world.
